It's a common question if you haven't done a newborn session before: How does it work to book a newborn session if you don't even know when baby is going to be born? First of all, if you're having a baby congratulations! Hopefully this post answers some of the questions you may have on the process. BEFORE BABY ARRIVES
Your non-refundable session fee is paid to reserve your due date. I also reserve tentative dates around the due date --one roughly the weekend before and another 1-2 weekends after the due date, depending where the due date lands during the week. Once your baby makes their arrival (early, late, or right on time) we set an official date within the first 5-14 days after their birth.
WHEN YOU DELIVER
Congratulations! Text or email us to let us know your baby has arrived. We will finalize a date that works for both of us. 3 days prior to your session you will receive a Prep Guide to help you best prepare for our session together.
SESSION TIME
Don't worry about travel with a new little baby. I've got it covered and will bring all my gear to you. Then you can just sit back and relax in the comfort of your own home as I work on photographing your tiny little peanut.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
2-3 weeks after your session, I will come back to your home for your gallery reveal and ordering appointment. Here you will select your favorite images and decide whether you'd like to turn them into wall art, create an album or just purchase the digital files. No physical or digital prints / products are included in the session fees, as you only purchase what you truly love at this ordering appointment.
