The only time during a pregnancy you don't mind always feeling overly hot is when it's -10 °C out. The weather did not call for it to be that cold, but when we got up to Dilworth Mountain in Kelowna, the wind was strong, blowing the cold air around. I made sure not to wear many layers myself as I didn't think it was fair for her to be in a t-shirt and me all bundled up (I had an extra long hot bath as soon as I got home!). I'm very pleased with what we managed to captured during that first quick maternity shoot in Kelowna, despite the unexpected temperature drop.
