This session was short, sweet and to the point. It was part of a photography training day for newborn photography in West Kelowna, where we had 15 minutes to pose, calm & photograph Baby A, who was just 8 days old. It's such a fascinating journey starting newborn photography. I've had my share of seeing and holding babies. But most of that was through friends, or in-laws. I'm the oldest of my siblings and cousins, and no one has had any children of their own yet. Which was a big reason why I wanted to make sure I worked with a long time newborn photographer for the first few sessions, to learn the safety side of it. It's one thing to hold a baby, but a completely different story when it comes to posing and wrapping as there's so much safety involved. And safety is my top priority.
