It's always important to support local businesses. Why? Because when you support local, your money and tax dollars stay in our community: for our parks, our roads, our schools. People often think they need to make a purchase from a small business to support them, but that's not the only way! Wondering how you can help support local businesses during these difficult times? Here's 5 ways you can support a small local business from the comfort of your home.

LIKE & COMMENT ON THEIR POSTS
Even if it's just an emoji or a like, your engagement helps and also let's the business know that what they're sharing is being seen. If you enjoy what's being shared or think it's helpful, tell them that so they know what their followers like to see.

LEAVE A GOOGLE AND/OR FACEBOOK REVIEW
Businesses want to know how their customers feel about their service or product. If you've ever made a purchased or worked with them, consider leaving a Google review to help boost your favorite local businesses in search results. It costs you nothing but means more than you realize.

SHARE WITH A FRIEND
It could be as simple as sharing a social media post OR! Got to the Facebook page you want to share. Scroll across the top to the right. Go to ‘COMMUNITY’ Click 'INVITE FRIENDS' Click ‘ALL'
Wait 10-15 seconds for the invitations to send - it’s as simple as that -
ORDER ONLINE
If the company is product based, chances are they have an online shop where you can purchase their products. This way you can shop from the comfort of your own home! Restaurants are also adding an online ordering option, or take out, to continue to serve their customers. I do offer prints of my landscapes, if that is something that might be of interest for your wall or for gifts, please contact me for information.

BUY A GIFT CARD FOR LATER
Many businesses right now are not open for walk in business, but don't let that stop you from making a purchase. Ask if they have gift cards available to use at a later date if what you want isn't an option right now.
Feel free to share this. Let's spread happy vibes and love for the small businesses!
